I. Key Department News:

  • CSU Students Learn About GPS: On February 15, Karl Brown of the USGS Center for Biological Informatics will provide Colorado State University (CSU) students with a Global Positioning System (GPS) status briefing during the CSU Remote Sensing and GIS Seminar. Brown is participating in the seminar at the request of Professor Roger Hoffer of the CSU Department of Forest Sciences. Seminar participants include seniors and graduate students working in geospatial technology fields. This is the second request from CSU for this topic and speaker in three years.
