  • USGS Scientist to Speak at Colorado State University. USGS Scientist Tom Owens has been invited to make a presentation at Colorado State University's Forest Science Seminar on September 13 in Fort Collins, Colorado. The Seminar is a weekly event targeted to graduate students and faculty in the Department of Forest Sciences at Colorado State. Owens will speak on the USGS-NPS Vegetation Mapping Program.
