  • USGS Scientist to assist with NPS Natural Resources Data Management Workshop. Karl Brown, CBI manager for the USGS/NPS Vegetation Mapping Program will present Vegetation Inventory concepts on Wednesday, Aug. 7 on the third day of this 5-day training session in Fort Collins, Colorado. The National Park Service Inventory and Monitoring personnel from many parks and monuments will be in attendance. The session will include a GIS interactive exercise demonstrating the depth of the data sets obtained through the Vegetation Mapping Program.
