Technical Infrastructure

Center for Biological Informatics staff support CBI and National Biological Information Infrastructure products and services by providing efficient, effective, and current hardware, software, and telecommunications applications. The staff investigates how matured and emerging internet technologies can provide solutions to the problems of dissemination of biological data. The Center will seek out partners of excellence to work with in providing these services to the Nation. These include data holders, modelers and specialists in application technology and information management.
