Biology - Contaminant Biology Program Program
Western Fishereis Research Center (WFRC) 6505 NE 65th Street WERC scientists have been studies biological fate and effects of contaminants in the aquatic ecosystems of the Western coast, and working on developing methods to provide bioremediation and control of contaminated habitats. Below are listed samples of past and current studies, representing the scope of contaminants research expertise at WFRC: Introduction to the Contaminants Research in WFRC Contaminated Habitats: Agricultural Areas, Rangeland, and Forests Contaminated Habitats: Mining, Metals, Mercury, and Energy Development
