These may be conference announcements, conference reports, news about new works or theses, student successes, or book reviews. Photographs as .jpg are welcome. Publication dates are January and July, with copy deadlines 1^st December and 1^st June. Please send items to i.j.slipper@gre.ac.uk. These are posted to TMS members and become available from the website www.tmsoc.org, where recent issues are available to view. Any microfossil news is accepted, not just ostracods.

A Canadian Ostracodologist Meeting is organized at the Universite Laval, Quebec, from 16-18 November 2006. There will be no fees.
