REQUESTS

Rossi Abdelhamid will be extremely grateful to receive papers or data about Lower Cretaceous ostracodes of the world, especially from the western margin of the Atlantic (North, Central, and South America).

Alwine Bertels will be very grateful to receive reprints of Cenozoic (Middle Tertiary and Quaternary) fresh and brackish-water Ostracoda.

Anil Bhandari I am looking forward to post-doctoral fellowship/collaborative work on Cenomanian to Coniacian ostracodes of Jaisalmer Basin, Rajasthan, India.

Alessandro Bossio, Barbara Dell’Antonia We are very interested in receiving papers on both marine and nonmarine Oligocene Ostracoda and on marine Miocene Ostracoda of the Thetis.

Eric Braccini is particularly interested to have contact with people working on South American ostracodes.

Ole Bruun Christensen Reviews the Upper Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous ostracod stratigraphy in the North Sea area and compares the zones with an onychites stratigraphy )mega-, macro-, and microhooklets, mostly in black shale facies). Samples or information on beds, with both fossil groups represented are important for his comparative basinal studies (e.g., both groups of fossils occur more or less rarely in most samples from the Kimmeridge Clay Formation, Speeton Cliff, Yorkshire.

Anne Cohen I am working on the post-Paleozoic Myodocopida section of the Treatise revision. As a biologist, I have a limited collection and knowledge of the fossil literature, and fear that without help, I will surely omit many fossil species names and references. I would be most grateful to anyone who will mail or email (acohen@ucla.edu) fossil myodocopid references. Many thanks!

Joao Carlos Coimbra: Papers about Caribbean and Central and South American ostracodes. Papers about mangrove and swamp ostracodes of the world.

Gabriela C. Cusminsky would like to contact colleagues working on Tertiary and Quaternary lacustrine ostracodes; she will be also very grateful to receive reprints.

Alicia Emma Echevarria will be grateful for reprints related to Cenozoic mixohaline and marine ostracodes.

Laura Ferrero would like to interchange reprints related to the systematics and ecology of fresh- and brackish-water ostracodes.

Sk. Md. Hussain Any paper which deals with the pollution aspect, sea level changes, and geochemical studies of ostracod faunas is highly solicited and requested.

Emi Ito asks if someone lives near a lake or pond where Candona ohioensis is thriving, and is willing to collect live ostracodes (and count the number of adults and instars) and water sample on a monthly to biweekly basis, I would like to hear from them. I would also need some basic measurements such as water temperature and pH.

S.K. Khalaf would be happy to receive papers concerning Mesozoic and Cenozoic Ostracoda, in particular those dealing with Mediterranean and IndoPacific areas.

Sanad A. Al-Khashab: To all colleagues who are working on Cenozoic Ostracoda, especially from Iran, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, Turkey, and North Africa, please send me any available papers (even abstracts) of your works about Cenozoic Ostracoda. I will greatly appreciate these. Any papers about the development of Paratethys, Sarmatic Sea, Pannonian Basin, Pontic Basin, Aralocaspic Basin, and South Tethys will be of great help. Please help me by any papers about paleogeography and paleozoogeography (by means of Ostracoda) from Latin America, North Africa, Middle East, India, and South East Asia.

Robert Lundin: David Siveter and I continue to request that Paleozoic ostracode workers send reprints of their publications to us and to the appropriate contributors to the systematic sections of the Treatise revision (published in Cypris 8).

M.A. Malik requests reprints from authors on freshwater ostracods

Edward Okosun: Will be highly grateful to receive reprints on Cretaceous and Tertiary ostracods.

Radu Olaru-Florea I request available books about post-Mesozoic ostracods from central and eastern Peritethys.

Ekaterina Tesakova would be happy to receive any reprints concerning Lower Cretaceous and Upper Jurassic ostracodes.

Franz-Wilhelm Wanek I would like to participate in international research projects which are related to topics on Pontian Ostracoda in the Pannonian and Transylvanian Basins.

Jaromir Zelenka would be grateful for any reprints on Recent freshwater Ostracoda.
