The establishment of the Northern Rocky Mountain Science Center (NRMSC) will serve Department of the Interior clients and other partners of the USGS Biological Resources Division, Central Region. The Center will collaborate with the National Park Service, Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Management, and other Department of the Interior partners and clients. An independent Science Center, located and managed within the Northern Rocky Mountain region, will better support client needs in a more direct and integrated manner, thus enhancing the application of science in the interest of wise natural resource conservation. This approach will be more cost effective and efficient by focusing science needs and programmatic direction and using an approach that integrates multi-disciplinary as well as multi-agency participation. Success will depend on strong partnerships which foster cooperation among Federal agencies, states, the academic community, and appropriate non-government organizations.

The NRMSC web pages are currently under construction. Please check frequently for updated information.

In the interim, the following is a link to a PowerPoint Presentation on the NRMSC. Additionally, links to the NRMSC - West Glacier, MontanaNRMSC - Bozeman, Montana and the NRMSC - Missoula, Montana are provided.
