Field Data for Plots

  • Map of Vegetation Plot Locations "foneplots.pdf" (767K)

  • Self extracting file containing ArcGIS shapefile of vegetation plot locations "foneplot.exe" (74.4k)

  • Field Plots Data Metadata ( 25K)

  • Access Database: Field Data for Accuracy Assessment, Physical Descriptive and Species Listing Data - Populated with scientific and common names from Modified Version 3.5 of the PLANTS database. (1M)

    • These data were collected by the Pennsylvania Natural Heritage Program under Cooperative Agreement 4560A0019, Amendment Numbers 3 and 11, with assistance from the National Park Service. They are represented in two files.

    Physical Descriptive Data for Plots

    For 47 sites, contains site code, site name, UTM coordinates, and physical factors (elevation, slope, aspect, topographic setting, landform, surface geology, Cowardin System type, surface materials, leaf characteristics, and physiography). This is a very large file that may not display properly on your computer. Download the spreadsheet or database formats for local viewing. Modified Version 3.5 database.

    • Species Listing Data for Plots
