Ranunculus cincinatus abundant in stream - 05 cover class in stream.Representative of vegetated section of wetland, some patches (e.g. no open water sampled).Plot done in area dominated by Spartina pectinata and includes part of a Carex nebrascensis patch and small patches of Eleocharis and Epilobium (in water).this is an Agsm version of mgp - see other mgp plots; surrounded by poa-psoralea (see 514)fairly good given the patchy nature of this grasslandThis plot is Stivir version of mgp. See other mgp plots and pointsthis is a good example of Sticom / Agsm version of mixed grass prairie - see other mgp plotGood for this polygon. This plot shows many different species mixed together. Poa is more dominant in other areas than where the plot was locatedstivir patch serveral ?? in size located as part of mgp mosiacPlot is moderately good example of stipa patch although perhaps more agsm than I see in other areas as with VP 554. This is just a patch in a sea of other types including poa, agsm, schsco etcPlot is dense patch of agsm as is seen throughout prairie. Agsm type is not one of the more dominant types but does occur in patches of varying size throughoutthis braod ridgecrest is mixed grass with locally varying dominants. Stco-agsm (plot); Agsm; Popr; Popr psorlea; stands of conyza; little bluevariable stand - some areas have more poa pratensis, some more stipa comata; carex filifolia common throughoutStand is variable, some areas have more StcoAgsm Popr; some have more Amorpha canthis type is located in patches throughout grassland. Much of the surrounding area is dominated by schsco prairie and poa/ psoralea. Sticom/Carfil type seems to be localized on mounds with poa dominate areas in bottoms, schsco on tops of mounds.this broad ridgecrest is a mix of this type and StcoAgsmfair, a large stand of Cirsium arvense noted on the north end of this town.fair, large patches of sweet clover, Cirsium arvense, Bromus tectorum, scattered throughout the polygonhighly representative of the center portion of this town. Nearer the edges are patches of Cirsium arvense, Medicago luplina and Verbascum thapsusexcellent (pretty uniforn stand); more diversity on upper slope where rockier i.e. more big bluestemarea below (drainage bottom) looks like old alfalfa field; this "bench" has some areas with more Broine, but plot is pretty representativelarge big bluestem stand, little bluestem above. Poa-psoralea above; plot is on upper part and edge of standgood side oat perhaps a bit more dominant than seen in other places. This plot representative of polygongood for scsco patches but scsco does occur in patches in surrounding areas dominated by poa/psoralea. sticom/carfil often located adjacent to schsc on midslope as oppsoed to ridgesquite representative, additional species of hardwoods noted upstream ( at pigtail bridge)good- some areas of stand have aspen or peach leaf willowgood? this stand is limited is size and we haven't seen others - some parts have more aspengood - this type occurs in this area associated with rocky spots on slope. Stands are usually less than 100m2good - variation locally in artemesia and amorpha densitygrasses variable - some areas have more andger, or stivir or sticom or scscoplot contains mixed shrub component rather than symocc shrubland found elsewhere. junsco and pipo occur interspersed in community although more in plotLVAL)}7K t 3 Z * A Y d ) WFU`ltake NPS 5 N from southern park boundary.
