Description:

Abstract:: This shapefile represents the boundaries of Petersburg National Battlefield (PETE). The Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, Division of Natural Heritage obtained it from Tim Blumenschine, Biologist, Petersburg National Battlefield on June 24, 2004.
Purpose:: This shapefile was used to provide a general representation of the PETE boundary for the vegetation classification and mapping project completed by the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, Division of Natural Heritage in June 2008.
