Abstract: Accuracy Assessment, Observation and Plot Points

Purpose:

To assist with the development of vegetation maps for the National Park Service. Plots were collected to characterize actual vegetation, while accuracy assessment plots were visited to verify the mapper's interpretation of the vegetation communities.

Supplemental_Information:

Data were reformatted to match Plots V3.0 by the Colorado Natural Heritage Program/Colorado State University. Some plots and AA points are missing coordinates or have bad coordinates.

Vegetation plots from The Nature Conservancy were surveyed in 1998 and 1999 to support the 1997 Yosemite vegetation mapping project. AA points were surveyed in 2002 and 2003.
