| Documentation or descriptive metadata detail the quality characteristics of the survey and is presented in Data Proofing Summaries (DPS). Properties metadata (Data Set Summaries; DSS) summarize the survey by presenting information about the survey location, who conducted the survey, what birds were seen, the number of records and a record of preparing and processing the data. For each metadata list, DPS and DSS files are organized by survey area and monitoring program, year, and month. Additional information on survey location and monitoring programs can be found on the Survey page. |
