Seabird Monitoring for Hawaii and the Pacific Islands

Seabird Objectives:
Star  Assess existing data and monitoring methods
Star  Provide detailed, standardized protocols (13 species) to meet seabird management goals
Star  Develop a seabird monitoring plan

Accomplishments:
Star  Black Noddy (Anousminutus)
Star  Red Footed Booby (Sula sula) Preliminary data assessments
      seabird chart

Significance:
Star  Design rigorous methods for the Fish and Wildlife Service to monitor seabird population status and trends on the National Wildlife Refuges of the Pacific Region
