FY2008 Quick Response Announcement - Central Region

Congratulations! Your study has been selected for funding under the Quick Response Program (QRP) for FY08. Although funding and the allocation time-line is contingent upon the annual appropriation process, the USGS QRP funding is part of the base funding to the office of the Central Regional Director and is reasonably firm.

Funds for your study will be released, when:

1. The Regional Office receives its full allocation for QRP; and

2. I have received a copy of your approved, peer-reviewed study plan that includes the signature of the Center Director, or Cooperative Research Unit Supervisor.

Due to the REX realignment, decisions concerning how to organize the Regional QRP within BASIS+, have not been made. The BASIS+ information will come at a later date, and then the PI will be responsible for adding the study information into BASIS+.
