FWS Region 2 - FY2009 Science Support (SSP) and Quick Response Program (QRP) - Request For Proposals (RFP)

About the SSP: "Through the Science Support Partnership (SSP) Program, the U.S. Geological Survey partners with the Fish and Wildlife Service to understand and provide the critical science information required to effectively manage our nation's resources."

Approximate amounts available for Region 2 new starts in FY-2009 (subject to USGS assessments and rescissions):
SSP: $154,914
QRP: $50,000

Due Dates: Proposals for both SSP and QRP are due to the Regional Research Coordinator's office on or before June 1, 2008

INSTRUCTIONS:

Use the attached format and instructions for developing proposals for the FY-2009 Science Support Program and the guidance contained in the attached FY-2006 RFP for preparing proposals for the FY-2009 Quick Response Program (The FY-2009 guidance is expected to be the same.)

In consideration that this position will be vacant until filled effective February 29, 2008, I suggest you contact your program representative to the Regional Research Team if you have questions or need additional assistance or information.
