Requests for Proposals

The Fish and Wildlife Service issues their call for SSP proposals early in the calendar year, usually beginning in February or March.  Each FWS Region generates its own specific priorities for SSP funding and RFP details, although the generalities of each RFP are consistant.  One proposal template is used by all Regions, although there may be some slight tweaks by some Regions.  For the most part, the same template may be used for any FWS Region.   Proposal timelines are generally the same, but may vary by a matter of days or weeks.  Refer to the timeline page for a snapshot of the process and the specific RFPs below for actual deadlines.
